Truth
Truth is defined as evidence that is grounded in lived reality.

TAF Collective CIC operates at the intersection of culture, community and creativity, developing accessible, innovative and culturally competent approaches to health and wellbeing for Black and ethnically diverse communities.
We strive to create a more equitable health landscape where communities are understood, valued, respected and cared for.
Our interdisciplinary approach integrates culture, creativity, psychology, scientific evidence and lived experience.
We believe communities should have the agency to define what good health and care mean for themselves.
More about TAF CollectiveTruth is defined as evidence that is grounded in lived reality.
Authenticity is to exist wholly and without fragmentation.
Freedom is the capacity to exist fully without justification.
TAF exists to confront health inequalities and take action where disparities and poorer health outcomes persist.
We address the gaps in access, support and care; representation in health research; engagement with health services; health literacy; and trust in healthcare, research and policy.
We centre the margins, people and communities who are underrepresented, racialised, stigmatised or underserved, including Black and ethnically diverse communities, LGBTQ+ people, migrants, and people living with and affected by HIV.
The Work
HIV remains a health inequality. Our work focuses on the communities for whom progress has not been equal, improving access to prevention, testing, treatment and care; strengthening knowledge and engagement; challenging stigma; and supporting sexual, mental and social wellbeing.
